Royal Fremantle Golf Club is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a friendly sporting environment, delivering exceptional service to members and guests, and being actively involved in the day-to-day operations of a premier golf club.
About the Role
As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Golf Shop and supporting the overall golf experience for our members and visitors. You will assist with golf bookings, retail sales, customer service, driving range operations, tournament support, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment throughout the Club.
This position involves a variety of shifts between 5:30am and 6:30pm and will include weekend work. The position is offered as a Permanent part time position with 4 days per week being required, and the option of full time being offered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in members and guests for golf play.
- Manage tee time bookings and enquiries.
- Process green fees, cart hire fees and retail sales.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and stock levels of the Golf Shop.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management and special promotions.
- Support driving range operations, including collecting, cleaning and sorting range balls.
- Assist with golf cart cleaning, organisation and staging.
- Provide information on Club policies, dress standards and course operations.
- Support golf events, competitions and tournament operations.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
