Job Description
We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic full time 1st Year Apprentice Bakers to join our team at Bakers Delight Kawana & Maroochydore (no experience necessary). Apprentices who are either in their 2nd or 3rd year are also encouraged to apply.
Completing an Apprenticeship with Bakers Delight involves more than just going to school or training. Our Apprentices are hands on from day one. You will learn the art and science of baking through formal training, through one-on-one coaching and support from baking team members and through practice, practice, practice.
This role involves early starts and you will operate on a rotating roster which will include weekend work.
Responsibilities and Duties
At Bakers Delight, our Apprentices are responsible for:
- Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
- Assisting the Production Manager with stock control and production expenses
- Learning new skills and products
- Providing delightful customer service when required
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
- Have a passion for baking
- A positive attitude and thrive in a team environment
- Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Be reliable and committed to the role
- Be prepared to work hard and get your hands dirty
