Shade Sail Installer / Skilled Tradesperson
Shade Sail Services is expanding across Queensland and we’re looking for skilled tradespeople and subcontractors to support our growing installation network.
We’re looking for practical, reliable people who are confident working on-site and interested in shade sail and outdoor structure installation. Previous shade sail experience is highly regarded, but strong experience in other relevant trades will also be considered.
The work may include:
- Replacing existing shade sails
- Installing steel posts and shade sail structures
- Installing roof brackets and fixing points
- Digging holes using manual and mechanical equipment
- Assisting with site measurements before installation
- Rigging, tensioning and completing final adjustments
- Working safely at heights and following site safety requirements
- Communicating professionally with customers on-site
- Using scheduling and job management software
Who we’re looking for:
You may be a:
- Carpenter
- Roofer or roof tiler
- Plumber
- Blind or awning installer
- Shade sail installer
- Qualified tradesperson with relevant construction or installation experience
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Valid White Card
- Driver’s licence
- Australian work rights
- Working at Heights training, highly regarded
- Relevant QBCC licence, highly regarded
- Your own tools and transport

Shade Sail Services supplies the main project materials, including custom-made shade sails, steel posts, brackets, cables, tensioning hardware, fixings and other project-specific components.
