We are looking for a Translation & Interpreting Coordinator who can oversee the successful coordination of language services from booking through completion. You won't simply schedule appointments—you will ensure that every client is matched with the right language professional while maintaining exceptional service standards. You will become the central point of communication between clients, interpreters, translators, and internal teams, helping deliver reliable language solutions across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
Booking Coordination: Coordinate onsite, telephone, and video interpreting assignments while ensuring interpreters and translators are matched according to language, qualifications, availability, and client requirements.
Client Communication: Respond to booking requests, provide confirmations, manage schedule changes, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the booking process.
Interpreter & Translator Management: Build strong working relationships with language professionals, monitor availability, and ensure assignments are completed efficiently and professionally.
Scheduling & Administration: Maintain accurate booking records, update scheduling systems, prepare documentation, and ensure all information is current and complete.
Operational Support: Monitor daily bookings, resolve scheduling conflicts, respond quickly to urgent requests, and contribute to maintaining high service quality across all language services.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, administration, customer service, operations, or a similar fast-paced role is highly valued. Experience within translation, interpreting, healthcare, government, or professional services is an advantage.
Organisation: You can manage multiple bookings, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Communication Skills: You communicate professionally and confidently with clients, interpreters, translators, and colleagues through phone, email, and digital communication platforms.
Technical Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, scheduling software, databases, and other business systems to manage daily operations efficiently.
Mindset: You are proactive, customer-focused, adaptable, and enjoy solving problems in a dynamic environment. You remain calm under pressure and take pride in delivering accurate, dependable service every day.
Pay: $65,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
