We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a long-established premium French bistro in Melbourne’s CBD.
The successful applicant must also be well-presented, punctual, positive, and a good team player who shows attention to detail.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 (plus superannuation)

Key responsibilities for this position include:
l Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard
l Developing new and innovative recipes
l Ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
l Managing inventory and ordering supplies. Stock control and Stock Rotation
l Collaborating with other members of the team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
The position requires
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.

l Previous experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role with references
l Must be fully available over a 7-day roster
