We're one of Brisbane's trusted specialists in pipe relining, rehabilitation and robotic cutting, with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, exceptional customer service and reliable outcomes.
As demand for pipe relining and rehabilitation continues to grow, we're looking for a full-time Leading Hand to join our team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will carry out pipe relining and rehabilitation works while leading by example, mentoring the team and helping maintain the high standards of workmanship and customer service that Emu is known for.
Working closely with the Director, you'll use modern equipment, well-developed systems and user-friendly software, giving you more time to focus on leading the team and delivering quality outcomes.
The role will involve:
- Carrying out pipe relining, rehabilitation and robotic cutting works.
- Leading by example and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow team members.
- Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Communicating professionally with customers, team members and other trades.
- Assisting with training and continuous improvement of the team.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in plumbing, drainage, pipe relining, civil construction or a similar hands-on industry. Candidates with strong leadership potential and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Has leadership experience or is ready to step into a leadership role.
- Leads by example and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is reliable, motivated and solutions-focused.
- Holds a current Construction White Card (preferred).
- Holds a current manual driver’s licence (essential).

Pay: $50.00 – $70.00 per hour
