In this role, you'll:
Perform road maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools
Road maintenance activities may include, but not limited to, grass cutting, drain cleaning, pavement repair and incident response
Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
On occasion attend call outs when required
Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards
Work a 9-day fortnight roster

About You
We’re seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.
You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
You must hold the following qualifications:
White Card
Current driver’s licence
Traffic Controller Card – Implement Traffic Control Plan
Traffic Controller Card – Traffic Controller (TCR)
Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed
You must have previous experience as a Road Worker or related civil construction experience.
We take WH&S and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously. Therefore, to be successful in this role it is a requirement that you must reside within a 60 km travelling distance from the Russell Vale depot.
