About the Business/Role/Team
As Manager, Knowledge Practice, you will report to the Senior Manager, Knowledge Services and lead the engagement function to translate business needs into practical and coordinated approaches to managing knowledge.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Bank, including project teams, technology partners, and business units, to embed best practice knowledge, information and data management principles into systems, processes and culture.
This team sits within the Bank’s Knowledge Management Department, which is central to Enterprise Knowledge Management Strategy.
About the role
Drive the implementation of the Enterprise Knowledge Management Framework and strengthen knowledge maturity across the Bank
Lead a coordinated engagement approach to embed knowledge practices across critical initiatives, partnering with stakeholders and providing advice to drive consistent, enterprise outcomes
Strengthen governance, standards and lifecycle management to ensure knowledge is trusted, consistent, controlled and easy to find
Create and maintain knowledge taxonomy, metadata and enterprise search to improve findability and user experience across knowledge platforms
Enable the effective capture, reuse, contribution and continuous enrichment of knowledge across the organisation
Provide advice and targeted support for projects with a knowledge management component
Champion collaboration and continuous improvement in work practices, systems and culture
Contribute to the leadership and strategic direction of the Knowledge Management Department
About You
Proven experience leading knowledge management initiatives in complex organisations
Deep understanding of knowledge management disciplines, including governance, lifecycle management, people, process and technology and how they work together to enable knowledge flow
Ability to connect knowledge management to broader organisational priorities, including performance, risk, and operational resilience
Highly effective at influencing and partnering with stakeholders at all levels
Deep understanding of collaborative and information platforms and their potential
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
