Scott Electrical Services is a leading electrical infrastructure contractor delivering complex electrical projects across New South Wales.
As both a Level 1 and Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP), we work across a diverse range of electrical infrastructure projects, including power distribution, transmission, substations, underground and overhead networks, major infrastructure, commercial developments and private electrical networks.
With continued growth across our business, we are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator / Electrical Estimator to join our team.
This is an opportunity to take a key role in the preparation and delivery of competitive tenders for a broad range of electrical infrastructure projects, working closely with our management, project teams, clients and supply partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for electrical infrastructure projects.
- Develop detailed labour, material, plant, subcontractor and project cost estimates.
- Identify project risks, opportunities, exclusions and commercial considerations during the tender process.
- Engage directly with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to clarify project requirements and obtain competitive pricing.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality tender submissions within required deadlines.
- Review estimates and tender strategies with management prior to submission.
- Assist with tender clarifications, negotiations and handover of successful projects to the delivery team.
- Ensure estimates comply with Scott Electrical Services' internal procedures, relevant Australian Standards and electricity network requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in electrical estimating and tender preparation within the power transmission, distribution, infrastructure or construction sectors.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to accurately assess project costs and risks.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel and related systems.
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines.
- Experience with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and/or Essential Energy network standards and requirements would be highly regarded.
- A relevant electrical trade qualification, engineering qualification or strong electrical industry background is preferred.

Pay: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
