About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pick Packer to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for accurately picking customer orders, packing finished products, and ensuring all shipments are prepared to a high standard. You will play an important part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products accurately from warehouse inventory according to order requirements.
- Pack finished goods securely to prevent damage during transport.
- Attach shipping labels, barcodes, and required documentation to outgoing orders.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and report any quality issues.
- Update inventory records using handheld scanners or warehouse systems.
- Assist with stocktakes and report low stock or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, conveyors, and handheld barcode scanners.
- Operate a forklift if appropriately licensed (desirable but not essential).
- Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and dispatch teams to meet daily targets.
About You
- Previous experience in a pick packing, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move products safely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using barcode scanners is advantageous.
