Early Bird Cafe, a restaurant located on Magnetic Island, is looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position of Waitress
The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
- welcoming guests and providing menus and beverage options
- preparing, setting and arranging tables before service
- taking customer food and drink orders and communicating them to kitchen and bar staff
- serving meals, beverages and other requested items to customers (including opening bottles and pouring drinks as required)
- clearing used plates, cutlery and other tableware and returning them to the kitchen
- removing empty bottles and used glassware, and replacing or refilling glasses as needed
- processing customer payments using POS systems and cash registers
We would like you to possess the following:
- At least 1 year of work experience in a waiter role
- Be consistent and able to work well in a team
- Be able to perform well under pressure
Salary: between $71,500 to $80,000 pa + superannuation (based on experience)
Pay: $71,500.00 – $81,500.00 per year
