About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Casual Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Hervey Bay Airport. As an Aviation Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff and airport operations.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Screen passengers, staff, and visitors to ensure airport security.

Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment.

Conduct passenger screening, bag searches, and security checks when required.

Patrol the airport and report any security risks or suspicious activity.
Requirements:

Full Australian working rights

Valid Driver's license
-
Ability to undergo and pass a national security police check
-
Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing)

24/7 availability required
