Finance Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, just a 20-minute drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
As a key member of the Resort Finance leadership team, you'll oversee the day-to-day finance operations of one of Australia's most unique tourism destinations. Partnering closely with operational leaders, you'll drive financial performance, strengthen governance and controls, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide commercial insights that support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and making a genuine impact in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Duties
- Lead finance operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial governance.
- Direct the full month end cycle for Ayers Rock Resort, ensuring timely journals, high‑quality reporting, insightful analysis, and accurate reconciliations.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to operational teams, delivering expert advice that shaped business outcomes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across finance and finance related processes and workflow, focusing on simplification, automation, and centralised workflow design.
- Analyse operational performance to identify productivity opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Collaborated on financial planning, preparing rolling forecasts and annual budgets
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- CA/CPA qualification
- Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Highly driven professional with strong financial expertise and commercial acumen.
- Proven team leadership and people‑management capability, including a minimum of two years’ management experience.
- Finance modelling and analysis capability, with the ability to interpret complex data and support strategic decision‑making.
- Effective business partnering with a strong bias for action.
- Confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
- Experience driving process improvement and strengthening financial controls to support business growth.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non‑finance stakeholders.
- Strong cultural awareness and understanding of Indigenous affairs.
- Commitment to high‑quality customer service.
