Why join us as our People and Culture Business Partner
We’re looking for a People & Culture Business Partner on a 14-month parental fixed term contract, to join our tight knit, ANZ People and Transformation team. You’ll partner with Business Units across UCC Australia, including Toby’s Estate, Mocopan, Group Finance and IT, to support the delivery of our commercial plans and people priorities.
This is a key role within our business, leading and supporting the delivery of effective people practices across talent, leadership, culture and HR foundations. Working closely with General Managers, Directors and Senior Leaders, you’ll provide trusted advice and practical support across a range of People, Legal and Policy matters.
From enhancing employee engagement and leadership capability to supporting workplace relations and organisational change, you’ll play an important role in helping our leaders and people thrive while contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.
Your responsibilities will include:

Partnering Senior Leaders on organisational change, design and structure

Strengthening team and talent development and succession planning.

Partnering with leaders to drive effective performance and remuneration practices.

Delivering legal compliance and policy advice.

Using workforce data and insights to identify trends and support decision-making.

Providing strong leadership to the AU P&C Advisor.
About you:
You’ll be a seasoned People & Culture professional who thrives on partnering with leaders and navigating complex employee and workplace relations matters. You’ll be confident building trusted relationships, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice, and balancing competing priorities to deliver great outcomes for both our people and the business, bringing a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to everything you do.
You'll bring:

5 + years in a Business Partnership role, partnering with executive and senior leadership teams in complex and fast paced organisations.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate at all levels.

Up to date knowledge of AU employment legislation.

Previous experience managing change processes and projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound professional judgement.

This is a 14-month fixed term opportunity, full time, 38 hours per week, working between our key Sydney sites between North Strathfield and Chippendale. There will also be travel from time to time to our UCC Coffee Melbourne site.
