Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Administration: Administer and maintain the HR information system (HRIS) and other HR software applications, including workflow approval relating to employment changes, creation and monitoring of employee-related documentation (contracts, IFA’s, FairWork Casual Conversions, FWA’s), and certificate/licenses updates.
- People Services: deliver timely accurate support and guidance on incoming employment related matters through the HR inbox and main phone line
- People Systems: support in People System project work, maintain up to date system related self service documentation and assist in the resolution of technical issues
- Acquisitions: support our Mergers and Acquisitions process including conducting due diligence reviews, preparing reports for upcoming settlements, reviewing industrial relations and employment compliance, pre and post-settlement HR onboarding and administrative tasks including contract preparation and data entry in the HRIS.
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions within the business on P&C Compliance related topics and People Systems including; employment legislation, relevant industrial award, internal policies and practices, and HRIS self-service system capabilities.
- Reporting and Governance: Conduct regular and ongoing audits monthly reviews on specific employee compliance requirements such as employee qualifications, individual flexibility arrangements, working with children checks, visa status, pay rates, progression of Award levels, and employee hours worked to ensure consistence and data integrity.
- Continuous Improvement: stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes, proactively suggesting enhancements to current HR processes and practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience working with a HRIS (SuccessFactors)
- Studying towards or hold a Bachelor of Business/Human Resource Management (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, childcare regulations, and industrial awards
- Experience in producing reports and data analysis
- High-level computer literacy and application of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Exposure to the Early Childhood sector, or a similar operating environment such as education, disability services or aged care (desirable)
