Truss (Roof & Floor) Detailer:
Responsibilities include:
Prepares detailing of Timber Roof, Floor and Wall Trusses by Analysing Architectural and Engineering drawings from the Customer for residential and commercial projects.
* Detail Wall frame, Floor/Roof Trusses, adhering to industry codes
* Receive client orders and proceed to production
* Ensure detailing and reports are accurate and lodged in full, on time
* Willingness to make decisions based on previous experience and technical knowledge and to accept responsibility for those decisions
* Commitment to upskilling
* Commitment to customer service
* Show a consistent high level of leadership and delegate workload to others as part of their professional development
* Train new team members as required and ensure they are competent to work
Required skills and attributes:
* Minimum Year 12
* 5 years relevant truss and wall frame experience
* Experience with Pryda & Multinail Software
* Be familiar with and have an industry-specific knowledge and competency of the computer programmes required for detailing and office.
* Current Driver's Licence (Site Measurements may be required)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* Effective time management of self and team
Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
