The Role
Council is seeking an experience grader operator. This is a fulltime position located in Millicent with an attractive remuneration package of $75,468.91 - $81,218.66 depending on skills and experience. This position attracts a rostered day off every fortnight.
In this role, your primary function will be grader operations for unsealed road maintenance and construction works. Working as a Construction (Heavy Plant) Operator, you will be responsible;
- For the maintenance and construction of Council's local road network using a variety of heavy plant;
- Operating graders to final trim tolerances;
- Producing high quality finished surfaces for Council roads;
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of plant;
- Working safely and efficiently within a team environment;
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship while meeting project deadlines.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum Medium Rigid truck licence (Heavy Rigid highly desirable)
- 3 – 5 years of final trim / grading experience
- GPS experience
- Cert III in Civil Construction (highly regarded)
