About the role

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end payroll within Independence Australia Group (IAG), the parent organisation of Possability Group, supporting communities across Australia. You will be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end payroll processes across a complex workforce
- Interpreting and applying enterprise agreements and modern awards
- Provide expert advice on payroll, compliance, and legislation
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll systems and processes
- Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
About you
- Proven experience in a Senior Payroll or similar role
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with iChris payroll system
- Demonstrated experience interpreting enterprise agreements and modern awards, particularly SCHADS Award will be highly regarded
- Exposure to the social, community, or disability sector (highly desirable)
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
