About the role:
Deliver contemporary, evidence-based ENT care as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary surgical team serving communities across Central Queensland.
Gain diverse clinical experience across outpatient, inpatient, clinic, hospital and on-call settings, working with increasing autonomy under senior specialist supervision.
Contribute to ENT outreach services and telehealth clinics across CQHHS, supporting patients in regional and rural communities including Gladstone, Emerald, Biloela, Longreach and Barcaldine.
Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, including clinical audits, patient safety activities, service planning, research and continuous improvement projects.
Support education and professional development through teaching, mentoring, ongoing learning and maintaining contemporary clinical knowledge and specialist competencies.
About you:
Current registration as a Specialist General Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia is mandatory for this position.
Fellowship of either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), supported by a recognised primary medical degree.
Commitment to ongoing professional development through active participation in an accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
Flexibility to provide services across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service locations as required.
Eligibility to complete the credentialing process and obtain an approved scope of clinical practice.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $403,098 p.a. is comprised of:
A salary rate between $187,569 - $216,643 p.a. (L13 - L18)
A salary rate between $187,569 - $193,436 p.a. (L13 - L14)
