About the role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to join our team at Dynamic Ratings in Mulgrave, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of efficient and effective field service engineering based service delivery and operations for our electrical and electronic engineering products and solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Manage field service engineers and technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality response to customer service requests
- Deliver product training to our field service team on Dynamic Ratings' B, C & E Series products
- Assume responsibility for the review of complex field issues
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise field service processes and procedures
- Provide technical support and guidance to the field service team, addressing complex issues and escalating where necessary
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of field service personnel and resources
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency
- Ensure field service activities adhere to all relevant safety, quality and compliance standards
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in leading a technically specialised team which includes monitoring service performance along with demonstrated experience improving technical processes would be highly regarded.
- Practical experience working in transformer or substation environments
- Confidence diagnosing and resolving control cubicle and wiring issues in the field
- Experience managing projects from planning through to delivery
- Exposure to SCADA systems and protocols (e.g. Modbus, DNP, IEC-61850)
- An understanding of DGA principles and how they inform asset condition monitoring
- Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing field service teams
- Familiarity with field service software and digital tools to optimise operations
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in electrical/electronic engineering or a related technical discipline

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
