About the role
Provide advanced clinical leadership, expertise, and strategic support in patient safety, clinical governance, and quality improvement within Metro North Mental Health. This role focuses on supporting clinical incident management processes and patient safety activities across mental health and alcohol and other drug services, ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach to the management, review, and monitoring of significant clinical incidents and service improvement initiatives.
You will work collaboratively with executive leaders, service development teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to analyse complex clinical issues, coordinate incident management responses, support patient safety education, and contribute to the development of systems and processes that strengthen safety and quality outcomes across the service.

Support education, mentoring, and capability development relating to patient safety and clinical governance practices
Contribute to service improvement, policy development, and the implementation of evidence-based practice across mental health services
