As a Cyber Security SecOps Analyst, you won’t just support a system, you will be involved in designing and improving how cyber incidents and vulnerabilities are managed across one of Australia’s largest and most complex environments.
Working with cyber operations, threat intelligence and IT teams, you’ll use ServiceNow SecOps to build practical, scalable solutions that improve how issues are identified, triaged and resolved. This is an opportunity to influence both platform design and operational processes, ensuring NSW Health is equipped to respond quickly and effectively to evolving cyber risks.
In this role, you will:
- Own and enhance the ServiceNow SecOps platform, designing how cyber incidents and vulnerabilities are managed end-to-end across NSW Health
- Build and configure workflows, playbooks and automations that improve how incidents are triaged, investigated and resolved
- Integrate ServiceNow with cyber security tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and Tenable to enable a centralised view of threats and vulnerabilities
- Work closely with cyber, IT and business teams to translate operational requirements into practical, secure platform solutions
- Develop dashboards, reports and documentation to support visibility, performance tracking and sustainable service delivery
- Provide expert input into platform design and improvements, contributing to the evolution of cyber operations capability across NSW Health

About You
You’ll be someone who:
- Brings strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow (preferred) particularly within SecOps (SIR and/or Vulnerability Response)
- Can design and configure workflows, automations and playbooks that improve how cyber incidents are managed
- Has experience integrating ServiceNow with tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Tenable or similar
- Is comfortable working across teams, translating requirements into solutions and influencing outcomes in a complex environment
- ServiceNow certification and/or familiarity with frameworks like Essential Eight, ISO 27001 or NIST would be beneficial, but not essential
