Position Summary
The ICT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating ICT projects and technology initiatives to support successful delivery outcomes within agreed operational objectives, timelines, and project requirements.
The role will involve working with stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and operational personnel to assist with ICT project coordination, systems implementation activities, project governance, operational support, and technology delivery functions.
This position requires strong organisational capability, communication skills, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to work effectively across dynamic ICT and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage ICT projects and technology delivery initiatives across various operational and business environments.
- Assist with project planning activities including scheduling, resource coordination, prioritisation, implementation tracking, and delivery support.
- Analyse operational and business requirements to support ICT solutions, system improvements, and implementation activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of ICT project documentation, governance processes, operational procedures, and reporting activities.
- Liaise with stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and business representatives regarding project activities and operational requirements.
- Coordinate implementation, integration, enhancement, and operational support activities relating to ICT systems and business applications.
- Monitor project progress, delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies to support successful project outcomes.
- Support project reporting, stakeholder communication, meeting coordination, and delivery administration activities.
- Participate in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments where required.
- Assist with ICT operational governance, compliance requirements, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Candidates should demonstrate relevant experience working within ICT project, technology delivery, operational support, business systems, or enterprise environments.
The successful applicant will possess strong organisational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and support project delivery activities within fast-paced environments.
Exposure to ICT project coordination, systems implementation, operational technology, digital transformation initiatives, business applications, systems integration, or enterprise delivery environments will be highly regarded.
Experience working with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models, along with familiarity using project coordination and collaboration tools, will be considered advantageous.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or related disciplines are preferred. Industry certifications related to project management, Agile methodologies, or ICT service delivery may also be beneficial.
