The Opportunity
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing equipment and ensuring production systems operate safely and efficiently. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to support CSL's pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and production machinery.
- Complete maintenance work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and safety requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
About You
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting & Turning, or a related mechanical trade.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, FMCG, or similar industries.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in a GMP environment is desirable.

Pay: $7,000.00 – $8,500.00 per month
