About the role
This is a hands-on yard role within a busy environment. You’ll be working closely with drivers, sales staff, and customers to ensure a smooth operational process in the yard.
What you’ll be doing:
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
- Assisting customers in the yard with products and materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
- Supporting daily operations alongside site and delivery teams
- Following all WHS procedures and safety requirements
You’ll be a strong fit if you:
- Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF) — essential
- Are comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Have a strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- Work well in a team environment
- Communicate clearly and take direction well
- Are reliable, motivated, and ready to learn
- Have previous yard, warehouse, or manual handling experience (helpful, not essential)
