About the Role
We're expanding! Following the achievement of several key milestones across our property development portfolio, we're growing our team to meet the exciting opportunities ahead. As part of this growth, we're seeking a motivated Assistant Development Manager to join our collaborative Development team.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of property development and build a long-term career in the industry. Working alongside experienced Development Managers, you'll gain exposure to the full development lifecycle and develop an understanding of the key drivers of successful projects, including time, cost, quality and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Coordination and Support: Assisting in the development of project briefs, procurement of the consultant team, planning, design, project delivery support, and project reporting;

Financial Management: Ensuring timely and within-budget completion of services, feasibility studies and inputs, budget control, managing invoices and financial reporting;

Market Research and Analysis: Conducting research on market trends to inform decision-making;

Client and Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with clients, and other key project stakeholders whilst facilitating strong positive relationships; and

Contract Administration: Assisting in the preparation and management of contracts with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
About You
We're looking for someone who is curious, proactive and passionate about property. You are eager to learn, take initiative and enjoy solving problems. You have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and an open mind to the broad and varied nature of property development. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:

Experience: Approximately 1+ years' experience in property development or a related discipline, such as financial analysts, town planning, engineering, architecture, design or project management, with a genuine interest in building a career in property development.

Key Skills: Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting approach.

Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in a property-related field (property, urban design, town planning, project management, engineering, construction, or related discipline).
