About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and creative Sales Assistant to join our team in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about education and creativity.
You will play a key role in growing our student enrolment, managing enquiries, and supporting the daily operations of the art school.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively recruit new students through sales and marketing initiatives
- Increase overall student enrolment and meet sales targets
- Retain existing students by building strong relationships with parents and students
- Handle enquiries (walk-ins, phone, email, and social media) and provide detailed information about Global Art programs
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective clients to convert enquiries into enrolments
- Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to increase brand awareness
- Develop creative strategies to attract new students (e.g. school partnerships, community events, trial classes)
- Maintain accurate student records and sales reports
- Provide administrative support including scheduling for trial, class schedules, enrolments, and payment processing
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the centre
Sales & Marketing Strategy (Key Focus Areas)
- Promote trial classes and introductory offers to attract new students
- Build partnerships with local schools, childcare centres, and community groups
- Leverage social media to showcase student artwork and success stories
- Organise workshops, holiday programs, and open days
- Encourage referrals through parent engagement and referral incentives
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or administrative roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (excel, email)
- Experience in education, enrichment programs, or working with children is a plus
