About the Role
We are seeking a creative and motivated Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Assistant to support the online presence and marketing activities of the ALC Group. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate, current student or early-career professional who is passionate about digital marketing, social media, content creation and e-commerce. The successful candidate will generally work two to three shifts per week, depending on operational and campaign requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule and monitor engaging social media content.
- Produce basic graphics, short videos and promotional materials.
- Update website pages, service information, news and landing pages.
- Maintain accurate product descriptions, images, pricing and stock information for the ALC EZYLife online store.
- Assist with e-commerce promotions, customer enquiries and basic order coordination.
- Prepare email newsletters and maintain marketing contact lists in accordance with privacy and consent requirements.
- Support organic and paid digital marketing campaigns.
- Assist with basic search engine optimisation and Google Business Profile updates.
- Monitor website, social media, email and campaign performance.
- Prepare basic marketing reports and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate approved photographs, videos, testimonials and participant stories.
- Respond to or appropriately escalate website and social media enquiries.
- Ensure all published content is accurate and consistent with ALC Group branding, values and approval processes.
- Protect participant, customer and organisational information when using marketing and AI-assisted tools.
- Provide general administrative support for marketing and e-commerce activities.

- Basic copywriting, image-editing or short-form video-production skills.
- Ability to maintain consistent branding across multiple businesses and digital platforms.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Qualification in marketing, communications, digital media, e-commerce or a related field, or currently studying toward one.
- Experience using Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile or email-marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of basic search engine optimisation and digital advertising.
- Experience maintaining an online store or product catalogue.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, CapCut or similar platforms.
- Understanding of privacy, consent and responsible marketing practices.
- Experience in the NDIS, aged care, healthcare or community-services sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
Employment Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Australian working rights.
- Availability to work two to three shifts per week according to operational requirements.
- A satisfactory National Police Check, if required for the position.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, if the position is classified as a risk-assessed role.
- A Working with Children Check, if the duties involve child-related work.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and access to reliable transport if travel between work locations is required.
- Satisfactory professional reference checks.
