Our client, Jio Tech Auto, is currently seeking a full-time Motor Mechanic to support its workshop operations by carrying out vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, mechanical repairs and replacements across cars of different makes and models. The successful candidate will help maintain the quality of workmanship and reliable automotive services provided to clients. The position offers an annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.
Jio Tech Auto is a premium auto repair shop in Ravenhall, Victoria, where clients get renowned workmanship and guaranteed results. Its highly trained, experienced, and certified car mechanics can diagnose, service, and repair any fault in the car to make it perform at its optimum best. The business uses only OEM-approved replacement parts and lubricants, and its car shop covers the entire range of car repair and service, from routine tune-up and regular servicing to mechanical and auto-electrical repairs and replacements.
Responsibilities include:
· Identifying engine, mechanical and auto-electrical problems through inspections, testing and fault-finding procedures.
· Removing and examining engines, gearboxes, steering assemblies and related components to locate damage and determine repair requirements.
· Restoring faulty vehicle systems by fitting suitable OEM-approved replacement parts and rebuilding components in line with manufacturer specifications.
· Completing routine and preventative vehicle servicing, including fluid replacement, lubrication and engine adjustments to maintain efficient operation and emission standards.
· Refitting repaired engine assemblies and components and ensuring correct installation before testing.
· Verifying completed repairs through operational checks and making necessary adjustments to restore vehicle performance.
· Operating electronic scanning and diagnostic systems to investigate fault codes and assess vehicle components.
· Attending vehicle breakdowns and carrying out roadside mechanical assistance when required.
· Discussing identified vehicle issues and recommended repair requirements with customers before additional work is undertaken.
· Maintaining workshop tools and diagnostic equipment to support safe and efficient repair work.
· Recording servicing, repairs and parts fitted to maintain accurate workshop and vehicle service histories.
Qualifications:
· Must possess a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and a Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis.
· Should have at least one (1) year of full-time experience as a Motor Mechanic in Australia.
Note: Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
