PPM is a small privately owned landscape and turf maintenance company. The company has been operating for 15 years and has continued to grow at a sustainable rate over this period. We are entering a strong growth period within the company and need to find experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated grounds people to join our team.
Key responsibilities
- Solid knowledge of commercial horticultural and gardening practices including hedge trimming, rose pruning, minor tree pruning, lawn maintenance and weeding.
- Pest identification and control measures.
- Spraying of chemicals to control pests and diseases.
- Seasonal planting and soft scaping.
- Experienced in the use of various small plant and equipment
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
- Timely reporting of any breakdowns or repair work required.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures and complying with legal regulations and Australia standards.
About you
- Experienced in grounds maintenance in the commercial sector
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Have good problem-solving skills and take initiative when required.
- Take ownership and pride in your various work sites.
- Work with and communicate effectively with a variety of clients.
- Maintain good time management skills.
- A current C class licence, police clearance and white card are essential.
- MR licence would be an advantage.
