About the Role
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you'll play a key role in delivering expert physiotherapy care within our Acute Medicine multidisciplinary team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. You'll manage a complex clinical caseload, build strong relationships across the service, mentor staff and students, and help shape high-quality, evidence-based patient care through your specialist expertise and clinical leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver advanced physiotherapy care for patients with complex needs
- Manage a specialist Acute Medicine clinical caseload
- Provide expert advice to colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
- Guide and support junior staff and physiotherapy students
- Share specialist knowledge through education and mentoring
- Contribute to service improvement and best practice initiatives
- Build strong partnerships with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Liaise with referrers and community follow up providers to support seamless patient care
- Advise leaders on clinical matters within your area of expertise
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice and professional care
About You
You're an experienced Physiotherapist who thrives in a collaborative hospital environment and enjoys making a real difference to patient outcomes. You bring specialist clinical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to mentoring others while delivering high quality, patient centred care.
- Degree in Physiotherapy with AHPRA registration
- Senior acute clinical experience and sound judgement
- Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor staff, support students and drive best practice
- Deliver evidence based care with clear communication
