About the role
As our Planner – Site Services you'll be at the centre of maintenance planning and coordination, helping ensure our site facilities, accommodation villages, and supporting infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Please note: This is a permanent role on 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
You will:
Develop and coordinate maintenance schedules to support operational needs and maximise asset performance.
Coordinate labour, contractors, materials, equipment, and services to ensure work is completed safely and on time.
Manage work orders and asset information through SAP and other maintenance management systems.
Build strong relationships with supervisors, tradespeople, contractors, and site stakeholders to align priorities and deliver outcomes.
Monitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and service delivery.
Support procurement and inventory processes to ensure resources are available when required.
Maintain accurate records and ensure maintenance activities meet site, safety, and compliance requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong planning and coordination skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or maintenance coordination roles.
Experience using SAP and maintenance management systems.
Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Sound understanding of maintenance processes and asset management principles.
Strong attention to detail and document management capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Experience within mining, remote operations, accommodation villages or industrial facilities.
Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or a related discipline.
Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Maintenance Planning, Engineering or Asset Management.
Exposure to reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), preventative maintenance programs or maintenance strategies.
Previous asset management experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, building strong working relationships, and driving improvements that make a real impact on site operations.
About Telfer Operations
Telfer is a long-life gold-copper mine in the Paterson Province of Western Australia’s East Pilbara region. The operation includes both open-pit and underground mining and Australia’s third-largest gold-copper processing facility. Since commencing production in 1975, Telfer has produced over 15 million ounces of gold. The site operates on a fly-in fly-out basis and offers a wide range of onsite recreational facilities to support workforce wellbeing.
