We are Australia’s leading supplier and manager of airport baggage and trolley services, with established operations across major airports and travel hubs. In addition to trolley services, Smarte Carte also operates sleeping pods, massage chairs, baggage storage, lockers and luggage retail services in Airports across Australia.
We are currently seeking Customer Service Representatives (Trolley Collection) to support our Melbourne Airport operations. These roles are focused on the safe collection and redistribution of luggage trolleys throughout the airport terminals.
Key responsibilities
With training, you will be responsible for:
- Collecting and returning luggage trolleys in accordance with Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Safely pushing and manoeuvring multiple trolleys
- Walking and standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Maintaining safe work practices to ensure safety of self, colleagues, passengers and airport stakeholders
- Providing courteous and professional interactions with passengers and airport staff
- Working reliably, independently and as part of a team
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC) for airport access
- Hold a current Australian Driver Licence
- Be available for night shifts, including weekdays and weekends
- Be flexible with shift changes and additional hours (casual roles)
- Work effectively in a team environment and also autonomously
- Be physically capable of manual handling tasks in a fast-paced environment
