What you’ll deliver with us
This role is a bit of a salesforce developer/platform engineer hybrid position. It’s not your typical developer that just build features on the platform. We are going through a massive Salesforce transformation including implementing AI features in Salesforce as well as strengthening governance/security posture. We are looking for someone to have broader vision including evaluating platform security standards, setting up governance & compliance models, implementing new AI features and security controls.
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Salesforce Developer to join our BAU Support Team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing a complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who takes ownership, excels at solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about platform governance, performance, security, and scalable solution design. You will play a critical role in ensuring platform stability and resilience, driving technical enhancements, and upholding development, security, and architectural standards across multiple Salesforce clouds.

Design and develop enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and automation tools.

Strengthen Salesforce security posture by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust access controls, implementing critical security updates, enforcing least privilege principles, and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards and data governance policies.

Act as a leader for BAU initiatives: oversee support activities, lead incident resolution, and provide solution design for enhancements.

Manage and improve platform governance through coding standards, reusable patterns, and performance optimization practices.

Conduct peer code reviews and assist in technical decision-making discussions across the platform.

Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and source control workflows.

Perform root cause analysis on complex production issues and recommend long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

Contribute to documentation, solution design artifacts, and technical knowledge sharing across the team.
You’ll also need

Experience with Salesforce development and support experience in enterprise-scale environments. Background as a Salesforce Platform Engineer or Developer is highly regarded.

Proven expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce automation.

Strong experience in BAU/Production Support environments with a track record of resolving critical incidents and delivering robust solutions.

Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), asynchronous patterns, and integration frameworks.

Hands-on experience with version control (Git),GitLab, CI/CD, and SFDX-based development.

Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Familiarity with Data Cloud is a nice to have.

Background in a Salesforce CoE or platform governance committee is useful

Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (PD1 highly regarded)
