About your role:
This position, Registrar/Principal House Officer in Medicine, requires the provision of high-quality clinical care to the patients of Cairns Hospital, under the supervision of staff specialists.
You will rotate through General & Acute Care Medicine and a wide range of subspecialties, ensuring broad clinical exposure while allowing flexibility to pursue career interests.
Hands-on experience in acute care, ward-based management, outpatient clinics, and procedural skills.
Regular structured teaching, bedside learning, and access to exam preparation support.
Mentorship from senior clinicians, with opportunities to participate in quality improvement, leadership, and medical education activities.
