About the role
We're looking for an experienced Credit Analyst / Parabroker to support our Broker across residential and commercial lending. This is a part-time, hands-on role for someone who thrives on structure, detail and getting deals over the line.
You'll work closely with the Broker to manage the loan process from initial assessment through to lodgement, ensuring every file is accurate, complete and moving efficiently through the pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Assess client scenarios, run serviceability, and help determine suitable lending strategies across our lender panel
- Prepare, package and submit loan applications through Apply Online and lender portals to a high standard
- Review client documentation to ensure applications meet lender requirements
- Conduct loan research and assist with lender and product selection
- Follow up outstanding documentation and manage turnaround times ahead of lodgement
- Liaise with clients, lenders, BDMs and other stakeholders throughout the process
- Maintain accurate CRM records and proactively manage the loan pipeline
- Ensure all loan files are accurately documented and maintained
- Support the Broker with day-to-day administration and compliance requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
About you
- Prior experience as a Credit Analyst, Parabroker or Loan Processor in mortgage broking or lending
- Strong understanding of lender policies, serviceability and loan structuring
- Confident using CRM systems and lender portals
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, lenders and BDMs
- Able to manage competing deadlines across an active pipeline
- A commercial lending or accounting background is not essential but would be highly regarded
What's on offer
- Part-time role, 25-30 hours per week (5-6 hours a day), hours negotiable
- Flexible location: fully remote or hybrid
- $91,000 pro rata (FTE $130,000)
- Work closely with an experienced Broker in a growing business
- Opportunity to progress into a Broker role within the business, if desired
Pay: $80,000.00 – $91,000.00 per year
