What this job involves:
The Operations Manager will enhance the value of the asset by organising, coordinating, and assisting with the operational management of the centre and facilities to ensure the proper and efficient operation of all physical aspects, creating and sustaining a safe and productive environment for occupants and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
Actively manage the Workplace Health & Safety requirements of the centre, ensuring compliance with the client and JLL Workplace Health & Safety plans and requirements.
Proactively manage and maintain building services to a high standard
Monitor and manage all contractors’ performance.
Ensure all contractors are aware of, and comply with, the client and JLL Risk Management Policy, Work Safe Procedures and all relevant legislation including the Centre Rules
Facilitate retail tenancy design review in accordance with centre retail design guidelines, review and approve.
In partnership with the Centre Manager, actively manage capital expenditure budget to ensure approved works are carried out in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with the Centre Management Team, consultants, contractors and tenants to ensure annual targets for the centre are agreed and met.

Sound technical aptitude (trade qualifications highly regarded)
Highly organised with an ability to prioritise workload
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer literacy and IT knowledge to an intermediate level
A minimum of five-years building services or other transferrable experience
Previous experience within a construction environment would be beneficial
Previous experience in budgeting and forecasting would be beneficial
