Cake Delivery Driver & Kitchen Hand
Location Balaclava
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated team member to join our fast-paced cake production kitchen.
This is not a job for someone who needs constant supervision. We need someone with initiative, common sense, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

- Saturday
- Sunday
Shifts will initially be 1–2 days per week and will increase based on performance and business requirements.
Your Responsibilities
Cake Deliveries
- Deliver custom cakes, cupcakes, and desserts across Melbourne.
- Load, transport, and unload cakes safely and professionally. Speically delivery 3 tier or 4 tier wedding cake.
- Take full responsibility for ensuring cakes arrive in perfect condition.
- Drive company vehicles responsibly and maintain a professional appearance when dealing with customers.
Kitchen Hand Duties
- Washing dishes, trays, and equipment.
- Cleaning workstations and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
- Assisting the pastry team with general kitchen duties.
- Keeping the kitchen organised during busy production periods.
- Working efficiently without needing to be told what to do every minute.
Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory).
- You need to be around Balaclava area / St Kilda area
- Confident driving both vans and SUVs.
- Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for long periods.
- Fast, efficient, and accurate.
- Able to work under pressure in a busy commercial kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to follow instructions and use common sense.
- Must be proactive and take ownership of your work.

Employment Type
- ABN Contractor Position.
- You must have a valid ABN and provide your ABN details before commencing work.
