About the Role
As a Voice Picker, you'll be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using a voice-directed picking system while operating a tugger in a freezer environment.
Your duties will include:
- Voice picking using a headset system
- Operating a tugger safely and efficiently
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Manual handling and lifting of up to 25kg
- Working in temperatures as low as -28°C
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous voice picking experience
- Previous tugger operating experience
- Clear verbal communication and annunciation (essential for voice picking)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transport and excellent punctuality
Important Information
Please read carefully before applying:
- This role is based in a freezer environment (-28°C) for extended periods. We are looking for candidates who are genuinely comfortable working in these conditions.
- Start times vary and may begin as early as 3:00am.
- You may be required to work a rotating roster, including weekends (for example, Sunday–Thursday) you may be on a 4 x 10-hour shift pattern).This will require you to be available 7 days a week
- If successful, you must be available to attend two weeks of paid training, conducted Monday to Friday.
