As Assistant Director of Nursing - Safety Priorities, you'll help create safer, more connected mental health services for consumers, families and staff. Working across clinical and leadership teams, you'll drive improvement initiatives that strengthen care quality, support workforce capability and deliver meaningful outcomes for the community.

Leading safety, quality and clinical governance initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
Partnering with clinicians, leaders and stakeholders to implement sustainable service improvements.
Driving projects and change initiatives that enhance systems, processes and workforce capability.
Using evidence and insights to identify opportunities, measure success and support better decision-making.

You're an experienced nursing leader who combines strategic thinking with genuine care for people. You build trust, navigate complexity and bring others with you through change. You'll take pride in influencing improvements that make services safer, strengthen teams and create positive experiences for consumers and their families.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Experience in mental health services, clinical governance, safety, quality or service improvement.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to lead projects, influence change and deliver outcomes across multidisciplinary environments.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate qualifications in mental health, clinical governance, health management or a related field, and/or advanced knowledge of trauma-informed care.
Above all, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage to help deliver safer care and stronger outcomes for the community.
