- Permanent - Part Time, 40 hours per week position. Monday - Thursday + 4 hours every second Friday.

Your Contribution
- Work hands on in the kitchen to ensure product quality and kitchen presentation

Develop and implement processes to ensure consistent food quality and presentation

Effective management and training of kitchen staff to ensure quality standards and food safety

Work collaboratively with your team of chefs, cooks and catering assistants to deliver exceptional food services to our valued residents
- Stock control and ordering

Budgeting and food costing

Staff rostering and timesheets

Contribute to a high engagement culture of positive feedback and coaching
The Essentials
- Certificate IV, Associate Diploma or Diploma in commercial cookery or equivalent demonstrated competency.

Experience in implementing a varied and nutritional menu including special dietary needs within the commercial setting.

Knowledge of evidence based best practice, relevant catering aged care and activity programs

Completion of a HACCP course.

Written and oral communication skills.

Previous experience as a Hospitality Coordinator (desirable).
Current Criminal History Check (within the last three years) suitable for aged care (or willing to obtain) are essential.
