Retail Sales /Pawn Broker
Cash Traders is a family owned & operated second-hand dealer located in Glenroy. We have been operating for 21+ years and we are seeking to expand our team in this fast paced & professional retail environment where negotiations are constant. No two days are the same & who knows what interesting item is going to walk through the door next!
We are seeking a full-time employee to provide professional service to our new and existing customers. We’re a 6 day business and saturday work is required based on a rotating roster. Must have 2+ years of retail expience, if you have been in the pawnbroking industry that is a massive plus.
The successful candidate will be:
- Customer focused, with a desire to exceed customer expectations
- Think on their feet & be comfortable with negotiations
- Have a CAN DO attitude
- Have computer, tablet & mobile phone knowledge
- Knowledge in Gold & Diamonds would be an advantage
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not essential
- A strong understanding of eBay would be prefered
- Serving in buys and loans
Core duties will be, but not limited to:
- Meeting personal weekly sales targets
- Buying and selling products including negotiations (training provided).
- Cleaning & stock preparation
