Wickham Freight Lines is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Forklift Driver at our Warwick Terminal, within our Warehouse. This is a permanent, full-time position joining the team on our afternoon shift - 1pm to 9pm.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Load transport vehicles, ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed
- Operate a forklift to lift, stack and unstack stock
- Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of the Warehouse so they can be located easily
- Ensure all paperwork is correct and accurate to ensure the correct stock is delivered to the correct customer
- Temperature control of freight
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
Desired Skills and Experience:
- A valid forklift driving licence/certification with proven experience in a similar role
- You'll need to be hands on with a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to follow instructions to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times
- Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
- Warehouse Assistant will require - Valid Forklift Licence
