The Role
This is a dynamic, hybrid role where no two days are the same. You will be a crucial link between our clients and our on-site teams, managing the front-of-house admin, handling inbound inquiries, and assisting with project layouts. This is first and foremost a sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales: Respond to inbound phone, email, and website inquiries. Guide customers through our product range (decking, cubbies, landscaping solutions) and provide basic pricing estimates.
- Administration: Manage scheduling for site inspections and installations, prepare quotes, invoice clients, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Supplier Coordination: Assist with ordering materials (timber, hardware, and specialised outdoor components) to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Design & Layout Support: Use your visual skills to help translate client ideas into basic design concepts, site layouts, or plan variations.
- CRM & Data Entry: Maintain accurate client records, track sales leads, and update project timelines.
What We Are Looking For
- The Gift of Gab: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are warm, professional, and genuinely enjoy talking to people.
- Super Organised: Ability to multitask, prioritise a busy workload, and keep the paperwork sorted while the teams are out on-site.
- Design & CAD Knowledge (Highly Desirable): Experience with basic CAD software, sketch tools, or outdoor/landscape design programs is a massive plus. If you can help turn a client's rough backyard idea into a visual layout or assist with basic drafting plans, we want to hear from you!
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office, Google Workspace) and basic invoicing software (e.g., Xero).
- Industry Interest: A background or interest in construction, home improvement, landscaping, or timber work is highly regarded.
