The Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while representing both our company and our clients with professionalism. Whether working at licensed venues, major events, or hospitality locations, you'll play a key role in ensuring every shift is conducted safely and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and control entry and exit points.
- Verify identification and enforce venue entry requirements.
- Monitor patron behaviour and maintain a safe environment.
- De-escalate conflict using effective communication and professional judgement.
- Remove disruptive patrons in accordance with venue procedures and legislation.
- Conduct regular patrols of venues and surrounding areas.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
- Liaise professionally with venue management, NSW Police, and emergency services when required.
- Complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a confident and professional security presence.
Essential Requirements
- Current NSW Security Licence (1A, 1AC, 1D or relevant subclass).
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential).
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise sound judgement.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts.
