About the Role
As a Residential Care Worker, you’ll support young people to build stability, independence and positive futures within safe, supportive home environments.
You’ll be learning and applying therapeutic approaches while:
- Providing consistent, day-to-day care
- Building trusting, stable relationships
- Supporting schooling, appointments, and recreational activities
- Teaching everyday living and independence skills
- Following individualised care plans
- Completing clear and professional documentation

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking people who are committed to learning, growing, and contributing to a positive team culture.
You’ll need:
- Current driver’s licence (minimum P2)
- Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility including sleepover shifts
- Completed or willingness to enrol in a Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work or related field
- Experience supporting young people or in disability, mental health, community services, or childcare (highly regarded but not essential)
Most importantly, you’ll bring a willingness to learn, openness to training and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
