OPERATIONS
Our Operations Team are the beating heart of our organisation. They know just about every aspect of our operation and are the glue that pulls together all of the constituent components to make a flight successful. Although a stressful environment at times, it is extremely fulfilling and requires talented people with patience, tenacity and the ability to keep multiple balls in the air at any one time.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with our Pilot-team, including the Chief Pilot and Operations Manager, and will be responsible for managing client relationships, flight operations and scheduling.
Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
As the Customer Service and Operations Officer, you will be responsible for liaising with our clients, offering the highest level of customer service to meet their travel requirements. It is further required of this role to manage the day-to-day function of the organisation, including processing quotes and discussing operational capacity with our clients, accepting new bookings and completing relevant reporting for the organisation.
As this role requires your focus on many areas of the business, a high level of training will be provided to you. A great ability to learn quickly and to successful apply this training, and/or previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

Essential:
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills
- High attention to detail, proactive and efficient working style
- Logical thinking and have a calm approach towards ever-changing operational requirements including flight schedules and crewing of flights
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including an ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
- Enjoy working autonomously, as well as be a part of an accountable team
- Well-developed computer skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement
Desirable (training of the following areas will be provided to the right applicant):
- Previous experience in the airline and/or travel agency industry
- Understanding of charter practices
- Fixed-wing dispatching experience
- Aviation logistics experience, with a passion for problem solving
- Knowledge of operational and aircrew regulations and limitations, meteorology, flight planning and load control
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills within a dynamic environment
