Want a hands-on trade, steady hours and a rare skill set you won’t get on a building site? We’ll train you from the ground up to become a qualified plastic fabricator working on industrial projects that actually matter.
About the role
You’ll work alongside experienced fabricators building HDPE/PP tanks, chambers and pipework for mining, water treatment, chemical and ag projects. You’ll learn to read drawings, use tools and perform plastic welding in a clean workshop environment while working toward your qualification.
What you’ll learn
- Reading workshop drawings and measuring accurately
- Marking out, cutting and preparing plastic parts
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Assisting with assembly and plastic welding (butt, extrusion, hand)
- Workshop housekeeping and basic quality checks
We’re looking for
- Genuine interest in fabrication / engineering
- Good attitude, reliable, willing to learn
- Comfortable with hands-on, physical work
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
