FULL-TIME CAFE MANAGER
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Café Manager to join our busy café team.
This is a full-time position, with shifts generally between 6:30am–5:00pm including one weekend
We’re looking for someone who can genuinely take ownership of the cafe
What we’re looking for:
- 2–3+ years’ experience working in a busy café
- Strong barista skills and able to comfortably handle 6–7kg of coffee in a shift independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident managing a team and keeping staff organised
- Able to train, motivate and hold staff accountable
- Comfortable managing stock levels and placing supplier orders
- Good understanding of food, coffee and café operations
- Able to manage opening and closing procedures
- Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation and food safety
- Confident using POS systems and handling busy periods
- Able to jump into any station when needed — coffee, register, kitchen, floor or running food
- Calm under pressure, quick on your feet and able to make decisions
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Excellent English and confident communicating with customers and staff
- Someone who leads by example and is not afraid to get their hands dirty
