Are you a passionate and qualified chef who loves creating nutritious meals for children? We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and adaptable Children's Chef to join our vibrant childcare team.This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by preparing healthy, delicious meals that support the growth and development of children aged 6 months to 12 years.
About the Role.
As our Children's Chef, you will:
Create and prepare nutritious, age-appropriate menus for children aged 6 months to 12 years
Cater for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
Follow food safety, health and hygiene regulations
Manage food ordering, stock rotation and inventory control
Work collaboratively with educators and families
Contribute to a positive, welcoming and child-focused environment
Working HoursMonday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Tuesday – Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm

Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements Prior to Commencement (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (Child Protection)
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery
- Food Safety Certificate
- I'M ALERT Food Safety Training
- HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- National Child Safety Training (Gecko)

Pay: $25.71 – $34.78 per hour
